     <JTBC 뉴스룸>은 평소 남다른 선곡 클라스를 보여주는 것으로 유명합니다. 10월 31일에는 엔딩곡으로 Led Zeppelin의 'Stairway to Heaven'이 나왔는데, 최순실 보도와 관련하여 선곡한 것으로 보입니다.

     주로 흰 셔츠를 입고 있는 그녀의 사진이 언론에 보도되곤 했는데, 공교롭게도 'There walks a lady we all know who shines white light'라는 가사까지 등장해 선곡 의도가 더욱 돋보입니다.

     'Stairway to Heaven'은 레드제플린(Led Zeppelin)의 네 번째 앨범 <Led Zeppelin IV>(1971)에 수록된  곡으로 로버트 플랜트(Robert Plant)와 지미 페이지(Jimmy Page)가 쓴 곡입니다. 

     이 곡이 수록된 <Led Zeppelin IV> 앨범은 실제로는 제목 없이 발표되었으며 상업적, 비평적 성공을 동시에 거두며 3,700만장이라는 역사적인 판매량을 기록했다고 합니다.
